This is a wonderful recognition for Sylvain Dabadie and the entire team at the estate, the result of meticulous and passionate work in the heart of the Madiran and Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh terroirs.
This year, the estate’s wines are featured in the renowned American magazine Wine Enthusiast, written by Roger Voss, a great connoisseur of European terroirs and passionate wine taster.
🔸 The acclaimed vintages:
🟡 Pacherenc Sec 2024 – 91 pts – Although this is a dry, rich wine, the Petit Manseng, blended with a touch of Gros Manseng, leaves a telltale honeyed character along with the ripe yellow fruits and touch of spice. Its white flower aroma brings out the floral character of this full wine. Drink from 2026. Organic.
🟡 Pacherenc Doux 2024 – 90 pts – A sweet wine, tempered by acidity, this is both ripe and fresh. It is finely balanced, the honey and spice flavor lifted by a citrus crispness. The wine will be better from 2026.
🟡 L’Orée 2023 – Petit Courbu – 91 pts
🔴 Camy 2022 – Madiran – 93 pts – A dark chocolate aroma heralds this rich, full wine. Dense black currant and spice flavors give it concentration. Produced from a single parcel, the wine will age further.
🔴 Marty 2022 – Madiran – 94 pts – A powerful wine, dense with black fruits and rich tannins, this is full of aging potential. Its licorice aroma, chocolate and ripe black fruit flavors are impressive, showing the concentration from Tannat.
Thank you to Roger Voss and Wine Enthusiast for this recognition 🙏
